SafeMeasures™
We invite diverse groups of students and their teachers to become school climate leaders and to work as partners to improve their schools. Our school climate surveys help teams examine school climate and culture through student, teacher and parent eyes and take effective action.
- Our Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) Process helps student and adult leadership teams work as partners to collect, analyze and apply school climate and culture data to make their schools safer, more respectful, and more equitable and effective places for learning.
- After collecting and analyzing their school climate data, teams set school improvement goals, create action plans, and initiate ‘sweet spot” action projects to drive school improvement and change.
- We call this YPAR process The Safe Measures Process and it has been used successfully for over 20 years, in hundreds of schools across the US, to improve school climate, culture and learning.
